Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreter position is available in Plainfield, IN, working one-on-one with an early elementary student. This role requires a skilled Sign Language Interpreter or an ASL Teacher with experience in educational settings.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide sign language interpretation services to support the student's communication needs throughout the school day. Collaborate with educators and support staff to facilitate effective learning. Ensure clear and accurate interpretation to enhance the student's classroom participation.
Desired Qualifications:
Proficiency and certification as a Sign Language Interpreter or experience teaching American Sign Language. Experience working with young children in early elementary grade levels. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work full-time, 7 hours per day across the school week.
