Qualifications:

Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) is essential Previous experience in a school setting or as a Sign Language Interpreter highly desired Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, students, and staff Commitment to confidentiality and professional ethics Strong communication and problem-solving skills Enthusiasm for working with children in diverse learning environments

Key Responsibilities:

Interpret and facilitate communication between students, staff, and peers using ASL Support students' access to curriculum and classroom activities Assist with instructional tasks and classroom management Adapt to individual student needs and promote engagement Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to implement learning strategies Contribute to a welcoming and inclusive educational environment Benefits include a W-2 contract arrangement, competitive compensation, 401k plan, and access to comprehensive insurance and benefits.
