English-Dari Interpreter (On-Site)- Urgent Need

Job Overview:

We are seeking skilled Dari On-Site Interpreters to facilitate in-person communication between Dari-speaking individuals and English-speaking counterparts. The ideal candidates will have strong command of both languages and the ability to convey messages accurately and effectively in diverse face-to-face settings. This role is essential in ensuring clear communication within healthcare, legal, and community service environments. We are currently hiring interpreters for Olathe, KS.

Responsibilities:

Provide in-person interpretation services during meetings, appointments, interviews, and events. Accurately convey spoken messages between Dari and English while preserving meaning, tone, and context. Collaborate with professionals such as healthcare providers, legal representatives, social workers, educators, and others. Maintain strict confidentiality and uphold professional ethical standards. Remain knowledgeable about cultural nuances and language developments to ensure accuracy.

Skills & Qualifications:

Proficiency in both Dari and English (additional languages are a plus). Strong face-to-face interpretation skills across various professional settings. Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills. Strong linguistic knowledge and attention to detail. Professional demeanor and ability to work with diverse populations. Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. Previous interpreting experience preferred but not required.
