Mandarin Ad Astra, Inc. is urgently seeking Mandarin-English bilingual professionals to provide in-person interpretation services in a healthcare setting. We are especially interested in candidates with a healthcare-related background , including nursing students, college students pursuing health-related degrees, caregivers, healthcare workers, or individuals with previous experience in medical or healthcare environments. Responsibilities Provide accurate and professional Mandarin-English interpretation in person. Facilitate communication between patients, healthcare professionals, and staff. Maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and cultural sensitivity. Follow all client, facility, and healthcare compliance requirements. Qualifications Fluency in Mandarin and English . Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Nursing students, healthcare students, caregivers, healthcare professionals, and candidates with a health-related background are strongly encouraged to apply . Previous interpreting experience is preferred but not required. Ability to work professionally in a healthcare environment. Ability to travel to the assignment location for in-person services. Healthcare Compliance Requirements This is an URGENT healthcare need . Candidates must be willing and able to meet all required healthcare compliance requirements before being assigned, including: Tdap vaccination MMR (Measles, Mumps & Rubella) vaccination Varicella (Chickenpox) vaccination TB screening/test Current Flu vaccination Candidates who already have up-to-date vaccination records and compliance documentation will be prioritized.
