1:1 Educational Interpreter - Middle River, MD

Category Schools - Sign Language Interpreter Job Type Contract An opportunity is available for a full-time Educational ASL (American Sign Language) Interpreter to support an elementary student in a 1:1 capacity. This contract position runs from August 24th, 2026 through May 2027 during the normal school year and is located in Middle River, MD. Responsibilities include providing clear and effective sign language interpretation to facilitate the student's communication and participation in the classroom and school activities. The role requires close collaboration with educators and school staff to support the student's learning needs.

Qualifications and desired experience:

EIPA score of 4.0 or above, or RID/NIC certification Candidates currently working toward certification are encouraged to apply Experience in educational settings is preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Individual 1:1 support for an elementary student new to the district
