STAR7 started its activity as a Language Service Provider more than 20 years ago and it is still expanding worldwide. Our array of clients ranges from a wide variety of fields from technical to marketing. We are currently recruiting Freelance Simultaneous Interpreters with English > French for an on-site assignment in Dearborn, Michigan, supporting a customer experience event for a global automotive client.

Subject Matter:

Technical automotive discussion According to the client, the event will include 6 different discussion stations, each with 10 dealership representatives. Small groups of executives will rotate between stations to discuss pre-defined topics in an informal and conversational setting. Interpreters will support communication during these exchanges. The assignment may also lead to future opportunities with additional virtual and/or on-site interpretation projects. Key Responsibilities - in this role you will: Provide accurate and professional simultaneous interpretation from English into French. Facilitate smooth communication between executives and dealership representatives during customer experience discussions. Maintain confidentiality and professionalism throughout the assignment. Adapt quickly to changing conversational dynamics and multiple speakers. Ensure clear and culturally appropriate communication in both languages. Coordinate effectively with the STAR7 project management team and other interpreters on-site.
