Remote, MI
Remote Job Description Job description: Morning-shift interpreter to support meetings scheduled between approximately 6:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. ET, Monday through Thursday (excluding Fridays).
Actual hours may vary depending on candidate experience, skill level, and the meeting schedule. Occasionally, may also be asked to support evening meetings.
Responsibilities:
Provide accurate Simultaneous interpretation remotely (equipment provided) for meetings at Client Automobile Development Center (ADC), legacy Client R D.
As an interpreter dispatched by your agency to work for ADC, it is critical that both your Japanese and English be smooth and easy to understand.
Although translation is minimal, you are expected to translate documents accurately and quickly, if and when necessary.
Requirements:
Experienced Japanese/English Simultaneous Interpreter (both directions: Japanese to English and English to Japanese).
Education:
4-year college degree with a few years of experience, or if no college, at least 5 years of interpretation experience.
