Qualifications & Experience:

Proficiency with a minimum 4.0 EIPA (Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment) score Previous experience interpreting in educational settings, ideally with elementary school students Current and valid licensure for Sign Language Interpreting (please submit proof of licensure) Ability to commit to an on-site position Monday through Friday, within standard school hours Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills Professional demeanor when collaborating with educators, families, and support staff

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver accurate, clear American Sign Language interpretation for a third-grade student in both classroom and school settings Facilitate communication between the student, teachers, classmates, and school staff Adapt interpreting methods to meet the unique needs of the student and instructional context Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times Collaborate with the educational team to support student goals and IEP objectives Maintain appropriate documentation as required by school and district policy Why consider this role?
