Category Schools - Sign Language Interpreter Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact each day as a Sign Language Interpreter, working one-on-one with a first-grade student throughout the 2026-2027 academic year. This full-time, contract opportunity offers a consistent weekday schedule from 8:30am to 3:30pm and calls for a passionate professional ready to bring their expertise to a supportive educational environment near Springfield, MO.
Key Qualifications:
Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) required Previous experience in an academic or classroom setting preferred Relevant certification or licensure to serve as a Sign Language Interpreter in school settings Strong communication skills and commitment to facilitating accessible learning Ability to establish rapport with young children and collaborate with educators and staff
Responsibilities:
