Educational Interpreter - Albemarle, North Carolina

Degree in American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreting, certified ASL Interpreter credentials, and 1+ year of experience as an ASL Interpreter in educational settings. A school-based position is available for a skilled Sign Language Interpreter to support a student at an elementary school in Albemarle, NC. This full-time contract opportunity runs from August 4, 2026, through May 28, 2027, totaling 37.5 hours per week. Qualifications and desired experience:

Active North Carolina NCDPI Sign Language Interpreter license required; please provide verification of current active licensure. Previous experience interpreting in educational settings preferred. Strong communication skills and ability to work with children.
