Coordinate interpretive services, serve as a resource and liaison for the Language Service Associates and the American Sign Language Interpreters within the department, and ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and hospital guidelines and regulations. Coordinate departmental workflows for daily operations. Must work in production as required.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of two years' experience with Spanish/English verbal interpretation and written translation required. Bachelor's degree in languages, health care or related field required. Familiarity with Hispanic cultures and customs required. Strong knowledge of medical terminology and the colloquial equivalents. Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Ability to organize and manage multiple concurrent tasks required. Experience with Microsoft Office products required. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities required.
Preferred Qualifications:
