37.5 Hours per Week Join Our Team We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Educational Sign Language Interpreter to provide one-on-one interpreting services for a 3rd-grade elementary student. This full-time, onsite position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by ensuring the student has full access to classroom instruction and school activities. Position Responsibilities Provide 1:1 sign language interpreting services for a 3rd-grade student throughout the school day. Facilitate effective communication between the student, teachers, staff, and peers. Interpret classroom instruction, school activities, and other educational interactions. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional interpreting standards. Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and related service providers to support student success. Promote the student's independence and access to the educational environment. Qualifications Minimum 3.5 EIPA (Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment) score required. Knowledge of educational interpreting best practices and professional ethics. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Experience working with elementary-aged students is preferred.
