Chinese Interpreter — Cleveland, OH (USCIS / Immigration) Rush Translations & Immigrant Services Cleveland, OH Job Details Freelance $60 an hour 18 hours ago Qualifications Interpretation Consecutive interpretation Professional ethics English Chinese Full Job Description Rush Translations & Immigrant Services is seeking experienced Chinese interpreters in Cleveland and the surrounding region for in-person USCIS immigration appointments. Chinese interpreters are in high demand for our growing client base. We are actively building our roster of qualified Chinese-English interpreters across the United States.
About the role:
We dispatch interpreters to USCIS field office and asylum office appointments to support clients during interviews. Assignments are scheduled in advance, typically 2-4 hours each, sometimes longer.Location:
USCIS Office at 1240 East 9th Street, Room 501, Cleveland, OH. We also serve clients across the broader Cleveland region.Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate consecutive interpretation between Chinese and English
- Arrive 30 minutes before scheduled appointment time
- Maintain professional conduct and confidentiality
- Sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement before your first assignment What we offer:

Requirements:
- Professional fluency in Chinese and English
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Prior interpretation experience (immigration experience welcome but not required)
- Reliable transportation to the USCIS office This is an independent contractor (1099) position.
