Overview Join our dynamic educational team as a High School Spanish Language Lab Moderator! In this vital role, you will foster an engaging and supportive environment for students practicing their Spanish language skills through technology-enhanced labs. Your energetic and motivational approach will inspire students to develop their language proficiency, cultural understanding, and communication skills. This paid position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to language education excellence while collaborating with educators and supporting student success in a vibrant academic setting. Responsibilities Facilitate and supervise high school students during Spanish language lab sessions, ensuring active participation and respectful conduct. Assist students with using educational technology tools, including language learning software, digital resources, and IT-integrated lesson materials. Support curriculum implementation by helping students practice speaking, listening, reading, and writing activities aligned with language learning standards. Maintain a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages language experimentation, cultural exploration, and peer collaboration. Monitor student engagement during standardized testing or assessments within the language lab environment. Communicate regularly with teachers and parents regarding student participation, progress, and behavioral observations. Requirements Prior experience working with high school students in classroom or lab settings, preferably in language education or related fields such as linguistics or literacy education. Strong knowledge of Spanish language instruction principles, curriculum development, and educational technology integration.. Excellent communication skills for mentoring students and collaborating with educators and parents effectively. Demonstrated ability to manage classroom behavior and adapt teaching methods to various learning styles. Experience implementing IT-integrated lessons and using learning management systems or digital resources in educational settings. Knowledge of standardized testing procedures, educational compliance regulations, and special education considerations is a plus.
