Overview We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Doulas specializing in prenatal, labor, postpartum, and full-spectrum support to join our dedicated team. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive labor support, including comfort measures, advocacy, and guidance through active labor and delivery processes Assist families with postpartum care, offering emotional support, breastfeeding guidance, and newborn care education Conduct thorough client assessments to tailor care plans that meet individual needs and preferences Educate clients on physiology, anatomy, nutrition, and medical terminology relevant to pregnancy and birth experiences Utilize telehealth platforms for virtual consultations, follow-ups, and ongoing support as needed Offer specialized services such as Reiki or other holistic modalities to promote relaxation and healing( optional) Support families in navigating full-spectrum reproductive health options with sensitivity and professionalism Maintain clear communication with clients about intake procedures, medical history, and ongoing care requirements Collaborate effectively with healthcare providers and medical software systems to ensure seamless documentation and client records management Qualifications Proven experience as a Doula supporting prenatal, labor, postpartum recovery, or full-spectrum reproductive health services Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology related to pregnancy and childbirth Skilled in patient assessment, client communication, and providing compassionate patient service Familiarity with software systems for recordkeeping and documentation purposes Experience supporting breastfeeding through education and hands-on assistance Ability to work effectively with families from diverse backgrounds in various settings including telehealth platforms Certification or training in Reiki or other holistic healing modalities is a plus Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on client-centered care and active listening Why Join The Black Pearl Maternal Group?
