Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Remote Special Education Teacher - Indiana We are seeking a qualified and dedicated •Special Education Teacher•to provide remote instruction and support to K-12 students in Indiana. The ideal candidate is passionate about helping students with diverse learning needs, experienced with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and comfortable delivering engaging instruction in a virtual environment. ### Responsibilities Provide specialized instruction and academic support to K-12 students through a remote learning platform. Develop and implement individualized instruction based on students' IEP goals and learning needs. Develop, maintain, and update IEPs in accordance with Indiana requirements. Monitor student progress and adjust instruction and interventions as needed. Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with parents, general education teachers, related service providers, and school staff. Maintain accurate and timely student records, progress reports, and required documentation. Create engaging, accessible, and differentiated virtual lessons and learning activities. Use evidence-based instructional strategies to support academic, behavioral, and social-emotional development. Communicate regularly with families and school teams regarding student progress and needs. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field. Valid Indiana Teaching License with a Special Education license/endorsement required. Candidates must be appropriately licensed to teach Special Education in Indiana. Experience working with K-12 students with disabilities preferred. Strong knowledge of IEP development, implementation, progress monitoring, and compliance. Experience with or willingness to provide instruction in a virtual/remote setting. Strong communication, organization, classroom management, and technology skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with students, families, and school teams.
