Remote Educational Sign Language Interpreter - Indiana VocoVision - 4.0 Carmel, IN Job Details Contract 20 hours ago Qualifications School experience Certified Sign Language Interpreter American Sign Language Full Job Description Degree in American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreting, certified ASL Interpreter credentials, and 1+ year of experience as an ASL Interpreter in educational settings. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A 1099 contract opportunity is available for a skilled Sign Language Interpreter with telehealth experience, supporting educational settings in Carmel, IN. This role involves facilitating effective communication between deaf or hard-of-hearing students and educators, ensuring accessibility and inclusion through remote interpretation services.

Key responsibilities include:

Providing accurate and clear American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation during virtual classroom sessions and educational meetings. Collaborating with teachers and school staff to accommodate communication needs. Maintaining confidentiality and professionalism while adhering to educational standards and protocols. Utilizing telehealth platforms to deliver seamless interpreting services.
