Job Description

Category Schools - Sign Language Interpreter - Telehealth Job Type Contract A full-time position is available for a Sign Language Interpreter specializing in telehealth support for a 4th-grade student. This contract role spans from ASAP through June 3rd, providing essential communication access within an educational setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality sign language interpretation services via telehealth platforms for a student requiring communication support. Facilitate clear and accurate communication between the student, educators, and support staff. Adapt interpreting methods to meet the unique needs of a fourth-grade learner. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional standards in all interactions. Collaborate with educational professionals to support inclusive learning environments.
Qualifications and Experience:
Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) with demonstrated interpreting skills. Experience providing telehealth interpretation services, preferably within school settings. Ability to engage effectively with elementary school students. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Familiarity with educational terminology and classroom protocols is advantageous.

Remote work while supporting the educational needs of a student located in Shelley, Idaho.
