Job Description

In-Person Interpreter (All Languages) - Independent Contractor Join Our Team and Help Break Language Barriers Linguistica International is seeking qualified In-Person Interpreters in all languages to support clients in legal, medical, educational, social service, government, and community settings throughout Pennsylvania and other service areas. This is an excellent opportunity for bilingual professionals who are passionate about helping individuals communicate effectively and access critical services. Qualified interpreters may receive ongoing assignment opportunities based on language demand, availability, and performance. Position Responsibilities Provide accurate, complete, and impartial interpretation during appointments and meetings. Interpret spoken communication while preserving meaning, tone, and intent. Facilitate communication between individuals with limited English proficiency and service providers. Maintain professionalism, neutrality, and confidentiality at all times. Follow client-specific procedures and interpreter standards of practice. Arrive on time and prepared for scheduled assignments. Preferred Qualifications Previous interpreting experience in legal, medical, educational, social service, government, or community settings. Strong command of English and at least one additional language. Excellent listening, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to remain professional and impartial in sensitive situations. Knowledge of industry terminology and interpreter ethics. Reliable transportation and ability to travel to assignment locations. What We Offer Flexible scheduling based on your availability.
