Caseload:
Pre k- 8, details discussed in an interview
Pay:
$35- 40/hour, dependent upon experience and qualifications Guaranteed hours, competitive hourly pay, and a weekly direct deposit!
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)
- MUST have Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf Certification (RID) or Texas Commission for the
Deaf and Hard of Hearing:
BEI I or II under the previous certification system or Basic under the current certification system.- Experience working as a sign language interpreter in an educational setting preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide sign language interpretation services for students in a school setting
- Assist in classroom instruction and activities by interpreting spoken language into sign language
- Support students in understanding and participating in classroom discussions and activities
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure effective communication
- Help create an inclusive and supportive learning environment for students with hearing Impairments How to
