Minimal/Desired qualifications:
Minimum 2 years previous experience Previous specialized training(s) CCHI or NBCMI certification if applicable (Optional - for Interpreters only) Foreign study or degrees in specified language is acceptable A combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of formal training. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and target language. Professional attitude and great customer service skills. Must be valid to work in the U.S.

Spanish Mandarin Dari Vietnamese ASL Other languages -Rates vary by language-
Responsibilities:
Provide complete and accurate interpretations for patients, families and healthcare professionals Demonstrates cultural sensitivity and render unbiased interpretations to ensure an accurate exchange of information Agrees and complies with all privacy and confidentiality policies Strong writing skills and understanding of the translation process Maintains professional distance and integrity Be able to interpret in all three modes of interpreting, sight translation, consecutive and simultaneous Professional attire is required. There is no set location since the assignments will be through
