Sign Language Interpreter

Join our team as a full-time, on-site Educational Sign Language Interpreter and make an immediate impact with our district partners! Support students' communication and learning by providing skilled interpretation in the classroom and educational settings. Responsibilities:

Provide real-time interpretation of spoken language into ASL for Deaf or hard-of-hearing students in classroom settings Facilitate communication between students, teachers, and peers, adapting interpreting styles as needed Collaborate with educators and support staff to understand curriculum content and instructional methods Assist in developing IEPs for Deaf or hard-of-hearing students by providing input on communication needs Monitor student engagement and understanding, addressing communication barriers when they arise Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional and ethical standards Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with interpreting practices and educational trends

Qualifications:
