- Saturday Important Details Must hold valid ASL Interpreter certification/licensure required by Washington State Educational/School-based interpreting experience preferred RID Certification preferred EIPA score may be required depending on assignment Experience supporting K-12 students strongly preferred Ability to provide accurate real-time interpretation between spoken English and American Sign Language Must maintain confidentiality and professionalism in a school setting Strong communication and collaboration skills required Background check and school clearance required prior to start Responsibilities Provide in-classroom ASL interpretation for students, staff, and school activities Facilitate effective communication between deaf/hard-of-hearing students and others Support student learning and participation in educational activities Attend meetings, school events, and related assignments as needed Maintain accurate documentation and follow district policies and procedures #Workwolf
