Key Qualifications & Experience:

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide real-time sign language interpretation for students during classroom lessons, activities, assemblies, and meetings Support educators and staff in creating accessible instructional materials and communication strategies Maintain strict confidentiality regarding student information and interactions Promote student inclusion by facilitating meaningful participation in school programs Adapt communication support as needed for individual student needs, and provide feedback to the educational team Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute insight to best support student progress This contract role offers you the flexibility to demonstrate your expertise while forming valuable connections within an engaging school community, conveniently located near both Tacoma and the scenic coastal landscapes of Gig Harbor.
