Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Certification as a Sign Language Interpreter or equivalent state licensure Demonstrated expertise in American Sign Language (ASL) Prior experience working in an educational or school setting preferred Adaptability, strong communication skills, and a genuine passion for student support
Core Responsibilities:
Provide real-time interpreting services onsite in classrooms and school events Foster accessibility and inclusion for deaf or hard-of-hearing students and staff Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to ensure effective support Assist in planning and implementing instructional strategies for American Sign Language education
