The Interpreter supports the Nurse Aide testing and evaluation process by providing accurate, professional, and impartial interpretation services for Nurse Aide candidates with limited English proficiency. This role plays a critical part in ensuring fair, standardized, and compliant exam administration while maintaining the integrity of the testing process. The Interpreter works closely with Senior Nurse Aide Evaluators, Nurse Aide Evaluators, Proctors, and test site staff to ensure clear communication of exam instructions, candidate questions (when permitted), and administrative guidance in accordance with company and state requirements. Languages Needed (one of the following) Korean Vietnamese Arabic Duties Provide accurate, unbiased, and confidential oral interpretation for Nurse Aide candidates during the exam process, as permitted by exam and state guidelines. Interpret standardized exam instructions, procedural explanations, and administrative communications without adding, omitting, or altering content. Maintain strict adherence to testing rules and confidentiality requirements at all times. Support Senior Nurse Aide Evaluators and Nurse Aide Evaluators during exam events by facilitating clear communication between evaluators and candidates. Assist with candidate check-in, orientation, and exam flow when interpretation support is required. Follow all Prometric policies, procedures, and compliance standards related to exam delivery and interpreter conduct. Ensure interpretation services align with state-specific Nurse Aide program requirements. Report any testing irregularities, candidate concerns, or compliance issues to the Senior Nurse Aide Evaluator immediately. Participate in audits, reviews, or quality assurance activities as requested. Demonstrate professionalism, cultural sensitivity, and emotional intelligence when interacting with candidates, evaluators, and test site staff. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required Proof of fluency in desired language Additional education or certification in interpretation or healthcare terminology preferred Ability to travel up to 30 miles or more one way from assigned zip code
