Job Description

Completion of an accredited Interpreter Training Program (ITP), active Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID) certification, and 1+ years Interpreter experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a rewarding contract opportunity near Wisconsin Dells, WI, assisting a middle school student as a dedicated DHH Interpreter. This full-time position supports a vibrant educational environment, allowing you to make a meaningful impact on a student's school experience. Your day will run from 7:40am to 3:40pm, Monday through Friday, beginning on September 1st. Your expertise will play a crucial role in ensuring accessible communication and equal educational opportunities for a Deaf/Hard of Hearing learner. Preferred Qualifications:
Successful experience as a Sign Language Interpreter in a school setting Skilled in providing interpretive services for students with Deaf/Hard of Hearing needs Valid DPI #884 Educational Interpreter License required Comfortable working in a one-on-one middle school environment Ability to adapt communication styles based on a student's individual needs
