Join the Sun Lighting Team! Sun Lighting is a trusted supplier of commercial and residential lighting products serving contractors, electricians, builders, designers, and homeowners throughout Arizona. We are looking for a skilled, dependable team member with hands-on trade experience who enjoys working both in the field and in our warehouse. This position is ideal for someone with handyman, construction, electrical, or lighting installation experience who is comfortable making deliveries, assisting customers, and helping install or troubleshoot lighting products. What You'll Do As a Lighting Installation & Delivery Technician, your responsibilities will include: Deliver lighting products to commercial job sites, contractors, and residential customers throughout the Phoenix metro area. Assist with the installation and replacement of residential and commercial lighting fixtures in our showroom. Troubleshoot lighting fixture installations and assist customers with product functionality. Assemble, mount, and install ceiling fans, chandeliers, pendant lights, sconces, recessed lighting, and exterior fixtures. Safely load, unload, and transport lighting products and materials. Receive, inspect, organize, and stock incoming inventory. Pick and prepare customer orders for pickup and delivery. Maintain a clean, organized warehouse and company vehicle. Communicate professionally with customers, contractors, and coworkers. Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean driving record. Assist with additional warehouse, delivery, and installation duties as needed. Qualifications Valid Arizona Driver's License with a clean driving record. No CDL required. Experience as a handyman, maintenance technician, installer, construction worker, electrician's helper, or similar trade. Experience installing or replacing residential or commercial light fixtures preferred. Familiarity with basic electrical wiring, switches, outlets, and lighting systems. Comfortable using hand tools and power tools safely. Ability to read installation instructions and basic construction drawings. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly. Ability to climb ladders and work safely at various heights. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Experience Residential or commercial electrical experience. Lighting fixture installation. General construction or remodeling. Handyman or maintenance services. Warehouse or delivery experience. Experience working with contractors or on job sites.
