DISPLAY LIGHTING TECH

Pay:

$19.57-$27.87 GENERAL

STATEMENT OF DUTIES

Visual Display will be responsible for creating and maintaining a compelling presentation of merchandise that will engage customers and help stimulate sales activity. The Visual Lighting Tech will be responsible for the lighting of displays, which may include furniture, accessories, wall art, etc. while abiding by all safety guidelines. Ensure that the image and style of the company is protected at all times. Responsible for maintaining a friendly and professional environment by acknowledging every customer and co-worker that approaches. Job requires being reliable, responsible, and dependable. Must have attention to detail and be thorough in completing work tasks. Perform any other duties as directed by management.

EXAMPLES OF WORK PERFORMED

Change, remove, install and/or adjust lighting on displays and signage to reflect changes in inventory or promotion; maintain adequate level of supply and storage of lighting inventory; adjust lighting to properly display all merchandise in the fashion directed by Visual Coordinators; other duties as assigned by management.

EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS

Ability to repetitively lift heavy merchandise of 50 lbs; ability to communicate effectively with team members; positive attitude when working with customers; knowledge of employment, merchandise handling, and safety procedures

PHYSICAL ACTIVITY REQUIREMENTS

To successfully perform the essential functions of the job, an employee must be able to perform the following: Stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, climbing, crawling, walking, pulling, lifting, talking, hearing/listening and repetitive motion. Must be able to operate a scissor lift. Certification/training will be provided.

Heavy Work:

Lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally, and/or up to 25 lbs frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs constantly to move objects.

Work Environment:
