Overview We are seeking a highly skilled AV Technical Director to lead and oversee the audiovisual production and technical operations for live events, video content creation, and post-production projects. This pivotal role requires a professional with a comprehensive understanding of AV technology, sound engineering, video editing, and content creation to ensure seamless execution of all audiovisual elements. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, technical proficiency, and a passion for delivering exceptional visual and audio experiences across diverse platforms and settings. Duties Lead the planning, setup, and execution of live event AV production projects, ensuring all technical aspects meet quality standards. Oversee the operation of video editing software such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, and Avid to produce high-quality video content. Manage sound design, music mixing, and audio engineering tasks to deliver clear and immersive audio experiences. Coordinate with creative teams to develop engaging visual content through videography, filming, and content creation initiatives. Conduct signal processing and audio engineering tasks to optimize sound quality during live events and recordings. Supervise post-production activities including editing, color correction, and final delivery of video projects. Maintain AV equipment, troubleshoot technical issues promptly, and ensure all systems operate efficiently during productions. Collaborate with stakeholders to develop innovative audiovisual solutions tailored to specific event or project requirements. Ensure compliance with safety standards and best practices in all technical operations. Stay current with emerging AV technologies and industry trends to continually enhance production quality. Skills Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, and Avid Media Composer. Strong background in sound design, music mixing, and audio engineering principles. Experience managing live event AV production projects from concept through execution. Skilled in videography, filming techniques, and content creation for diverse media formats. Knowledge of signal processing techniques for audio enhancement during live or recorded sessions. Technical expertise in AV equipment setup, maintenance, troubleshooting, and system integration. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines. Effective communication skills for collaborating with creative teams, clients, and vendors.
