Job Description
Lighting Installation Technician Overview Modern Power is a fast-growing lighting and electrical service company looking for Lighting Technicians to join our crews of dedicated installers! Ideal candidates are self-sufficient, reliable and accountable. We value our technicians highly as they are the backbone of our growth and the most important to our success as a company. This position requires extensive travel within the United States with company-provided housing and transportation costs. Responsibilities and Requirements Retrofit existing electrical fixtures with energy-efficient LED fixtures Replace existing thermostats with energy-efficient thermostats Experience with lighting Ability to travel throughout the Eastern coast of the United States Ability to independently lift and carry materials safely that may weigh up to 75 pounds Ability to climb stairs, stand, kneel, bend, crouch and/or walk for long periods of time Ability to climb and work from a ladder Ability to operate a boom or scissor lift not required but must be (OHSA certified) What We Offer Full-time employment and competitive pay Paid time off and holidays Opportunities to advance as the company grows Low overhead: all housing, travel, and materials are paid for by Modern Power, including a flight home for the end of year holidays Make an impact: your work has a direct effect on the success of the company and on the environment Modern Power is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity at our company.
