Job Description
Spellbound Village / Quieten Labs | Hampton, GA Distortion is seeking a hands-on technical problem solver to help rebuild, troubleshoot and develop interactive systems used throughout our immersive attractions. Existing attractions including Witch Hunt and Cure Z are being relocated and reassembled from previously operating installations. Systems include electronic puzzles, sensors, controllers, lighting, audio, switches, magnetic locks, relays, props and other interactive attraction elements. The technician will work with existing components stored and transported in sections, determine how systems were originally configured, reconnect and troubleshoot them, and modify or rewrite code where necessary. Ideal experience includes some combination of: Arduino / microcontrollers, basic electronics, low-voltage wiring, relays, sensors, RFID/NFC, magnetic locks, LEDs, audio triggers, soldering, troubleshooting, basic programming and escape-room control systems.
