More about the role This is an exciting job opportunity for you as a Fabrication/Model Maker Technician in Peachtree City, GA , with Cooper Lighting Solutions, a business unit of Signify, the world leader in lighting. Support engineering in creating functional prototypes and models for new product development. Maintain production goals using various shop equipment. Continuously grow your talents and capabilities to include set up, operation, and maintenance of all shop equipment. Work closely with the Lead/Scheduler communicating issues, problem solving, and assisting with project completion. Perform machine maintenance resulting in minimum downtime and maximum safety and productivity. More about you While we value and appreciate all applicants, we believe that the following experience and skills will be needed to shine brightly in this job opening: High School diploma or GED Experience in assembly, model making, fabrication, construction, or similar trade utilizing measuring and cutting equipment Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and geometry/algebra Experience reading blueprints and/or CAD drawings is preferred High aptitude for learning Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future company sponsorship needs.
Salary:
$31.43 - 46.10 per hour based on experience
Bonus:
target bonus opportunity - 2.5%
