Salary Key Responsibilities On-Site Integration & Deployment:

Travel about once a month for a day or two to active project sites to install, test, and commission next-generation lighting fixtures and control equipment alongside the core R&D team.

Layout & Design Execution:

Translate complex lighting design documentation into physical layouts, mapping precise field placements for fixtures, sensors, keypads, and control enclosures.

Advanced Control Calibration:

Configure, map, and address elite smart home systems—specifically Lutron (HomeWorks, Athena) and Crestron (Home) platforms.

Protocol & Network Configuration:

Program and test complex digital lighting loops, including DALI addressing and DMX512 networks for dynamic, color-changing, and architectural spaces.

Expert Troubleshooting:

Diagnose and resolve complex electrical, network, or data-drop failures in the field (signal degradation, addressing overlaps, or power issues) using multimeters, system logs, and protocol analyzers.

R&D Feedback Loop:

Document real-world product performance, installation bottlenecks, and component wear, feeding practical field data straight back to our product design engineers.

Requirements Experience:

4+ years of hands-on field integration experience, preferably paired with an associate degree in Electronics, Electrical Technology, or a related field.

System & Protocol Mastery:

Deep, practical familiarity with Lutron and Crestron control topologies, alongside proven experience configuring DALI2 loops and DMX universes.

Technical Interpretation:

Excellent ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, Riser diagrams, architectural blueprints, and wiring matrices.

Tool & Equipment Proficiency:

Skilled in using electrical test gear, DMX/DALI diagnostic software, network configuration utilities, and physical cable termination tools.

Physical Capabilities:

Comfortable and confident working on ladders, scaffolding, and scissor lifts at varying heights to mount, wire, and aim architectural fixtures.

Travel Flexibility:

Willingness and flexibility to travel to luxury residential or commercial job sites for live system rollouts.
