Overview Join our dynamic team as a Holiday Lighting Technician and bring festive cheer to communities by installing, maintaining, and removing holiday lighting displays. This energetic but relaxed role offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, showcase your technical skills, and deliver exceptional customer service. You'll be responsible for creating beautiful holiday atmospheres while adhering to safety standards and using specialized equipment. Responsibilities Assist a crew in Installing holiday lighting displays on residential and commercial properties using ladders, lifts and occasionally on roofs Remove holiday lights and decorations after the season, carefully labeling and storing equipment for future use Servicing all of Central Illinois. Drivers license required. We provide most travel to destinations Season lasts from October-February Must have experience with ladders Skills Proficiency in using ladders safely and effectively for various heights and building types Strong understanding of safety protocols related to outdoor work, ladder use, PPE use, and high-rise operations Excellent customer service skills to interact professionally with clients during installations or inquiries Experience with outdoor work environments, including weather considerations and safety measures This role offers an engaging environment where your technical skills meet the joy of creating festive displays.
