Low-Voltage Wiring Technician Description:
Midnight Mansion is designing and building new concepts in immersive entertainment! Our vision is to leverage interactive art and unparalleled technology to delight guests and engage them in unique gameplay. The Role We are seeking Low-Voltage Wiring Technicians to support our production team with load-in this summer at a new 12,000 square foot venue space.
Responsibilities to include:
Assisting with wiring & cable management for museum-style interactive exhibits Supporting integration and testing of low-voltage electricalponents for exhibit rooms and interactions ing install and test A/V equipment for for themed exhibit rooms and interactions ing maintain a safe and clean work environment Compensation & Schedule $20-25/hr depending on experience Late July - Early September project duration Mon-Fri 9am-5pm Can amodatemitments of 2-5 days/week
Qualifications:
Must-Haves Experience with basic electrical tools (soldering iron, multi-meter, wire strippers, ferrules, etc. Working knowledge of low-voltage electronics and safe practices Familiarity with standard A/V equipment ((screens, projectors, speakers, lighting instruments) Ability to work at heights up to 10 feet on ladders or lifts Ability to lift and carry 50lbs with or without reasonable amodation Ability tomute to Needham, MA and Somerville, MA (primarily the latter) Must be 18+ years of age Must provide apleted Form W-9 prior to starting work Nice-to-Haves Familiarity with basic shop & tool safety practices Experience with pallet jacks and scissor lifts
