Description:
The Theater/Drama Specialist creates a dynamic and inclusive performing arts experience for campers. This role involves leading daily drama activities for various age groups, including theater games, improvisation, and storytelling exercises.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and lead daily drama sessions for various age groups, including games, improvisation, scene study, and movement exercises Create a safe and encouraging space w all campers feel confident to perform and take creative risks Adapt activities to amodate beginners through advanced students Be available for the camp season - June 22nd through August 15th - flexibility is available Participate in 4 pre-camp trainings:

June 1st, June 9th and June 15 (4:30-8:30pm) and June 20th (9:30-1:30pm) Hourly rate based on experience: $20.00 - $25.00
Qualifications:
Background in theater, drama, or performing arts (degree or equivalent experience) Experience teaching youth theater strongly preferred Strongmunication and group facilitation skills Ability to energize and manage groups of varying ages and temperaments Ability to stand for 8 hours Creativity, flexibility, and a sense of humor
