Overview Join our dynamic team as a Holiday Lighting Technician and bring festive cheer to communities by installing, maintaining, and removing holiday lighting displays. This energetic role offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, utilize technical skills, and deliver spectacular holiday experiences. As a key contributor, you will ensure safety, precision, and quality in every project, making the season bright for clients and neighborhoods alike. Responsibilities Install holiday lighting displays using electrical diagnostics and mechanical knowledge to ensure safe and efficient setup Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and electrical plans to accurately assemble lighting arrangements Perform routine maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting on lighting systems and heavy equipment mechanics to prevent outages or hazards Utilize tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing and diagnostics to verify system integrity Remove and store lighting displays after the holiday season, ensuring all components are maintained for future use Conduct safety inspections during installation and removal processes, adhering to industry standards and safety protocols Collaborate with team members to complete projects on schedule while maintaining high-quality standards Qualifications Demonstrated experience with electrical diagnostics, interpreting technical drawings, and working with schematics Mechanical knowledge related to maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) of electrical or mechanical systems Familiarity with heavy equipment mechanics and safe operation of related tools and machinery Technical proficiency in troubleshooting electrical issues using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately for installation planning and execution Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in a fast-paced outdoor environment Prior experience in holiday lighting installation or similar technical roles is preferred but not required Join us this holiday season to create memorable displays while applying your technical expertise!
