Position Introduction:
This is a Federal Work Study position at The Sooner Theatre (STON) in Norman, OK.
General Theatre technician duties including:
scenic painting, lighting, set construction, and prop work. Preparations for the live theatrical events including concerts and musicals.
Skills:
Computer literate Ability to learn new software Customer oriented Friendly and outgoing Creative Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills Ability to work some nights and weekends A proactive self starter with the ability to work independently
Required Education:
Must be currently enrolled in the Fall 2026 Term as an undergraduate student in good standing at the University of Oklahoma. Hiring contingent upon verification of current student status. Must attach Fall 2026 class schedule. Must attach a Resume. Must have received and accepted a work study award for the FALL semester.
