Job Description
We are a well established custom residential landscape company based in Bend with about 15-20 team members. We have a position open for an experienced landscape irrigation and low-voltage lighting service person who will work closely with both our maintenance and installation divisions. This is a full-time position with the potential to be year-round.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive company service vehicle to locations in Bend and/or Sunriver area each day
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair problems in an irrigation system
- Modifications to existing systems ( e.g. installing additional heads, valves, zones, drip lines, etc)
- Operation and programing of various brands/models of standard and wi-fi irrigation controllers
- Replace or upgrade existing irrigation controllers
- Perform irrigation activation, winterization, and maintenance as required
- Install, repair, and service outdoor low-voltage lighting systems
- Understand operation and maintenance of water features
- Operate snow removal equipment during the winter months
- Assure proper use, care and inventory of assigned company vehicle, equipment and tools
- Ability to complete all paperwork and digital submissions with the highest level of detail
REQUIREMENTS
- At least 2 years experience as irrigation technician or landscape foreman
- Ability to work unsupervised and follow schedule /daily assignments
- Hold or have the ability to obtain backflow testing certification
- Ability to demonstrate effective written and verbal communication with clients, co-workers, and supervisors in a professional and positive manner
- Proficient with Google Drive and other cloud based project management apps/programs
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds and physically perform the work
- Punctual attendance and reliable transportation
