Job Description
Enterprise Lighting & Control is hiring a Lighting Controls Field Service Technician to join our team. As the recognized leader in commercial, industrial, and institutional lighting in Wisconsin and Upper Michigan, Enterprise is experiencing rapid growth in a dynamic market and has an immediate need to expand our Service and Support team. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Configure software and hardware to control lighting systems according to project requirements and the approved sequence of operations.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues with existing systems and perform preventative maintenance to ensure functionality.
- Provide technical assistance, user training, and general support to clients and colleagues to ensure proficiency with the installed systems.
- Work with electrical contractors, facility managers, and other stakeholders to ensure proper installation and integration of lighting control systems.
- Create and maintain field reports.
- Recommend potential service enhancements or modifications for system improvements
- 80% jobsite work/travel; primarily in Southeastern WI/Milwaukee area. 20% home office time for scheduling, reporting, and customer follow‐up
- Other related duties as assigned Required Skills & Qualifications
- Understanding of electrical concepts (voltage, current, relays), IT networking, and the hardware and software components of lighting control systems.
- Ability to interpret electrical plans, wiring diagrams, and lighting RCPs
- Regular computer use, including navigating Graphical User Interfaces (GUIs) for software applications.
- Strong focus on customer satisfaction with excellent interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with clients, contractors, and internal teams, both in person and in writing.
- Effective problem-solving techniques for troubleshooting complex technical issues.
- Ability to resolve conflicts under pressure with consideration and understanding.
- A high level of self-accountability, attention to detail, and overall work ethic. Key Attributes
