Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Stage Manager to lead and coordinate all aspects of theatrical productions and live event performances. This pivotal role involves managing the entire production process, ensuring seamless execution from rehearsals to curtain call. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for the performing arts, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to motivate and manage diverse production teams. As a Stage Manager, you will be the central communication hub, overseeing technical elements, managing schedules, and maintaining a vibrant theatrical environment that inspires creativity and excellence. Duties Coordinate rehearsals, performances, and technical runs to ensure timely and smooth production flow Manage stage rigging, lighting equipment, sound systems, and projection systems to support artistic vision Oversee setup and operation of theatrical lighting equipment, sound equipment, and projection systems during performances Lead and manage theatrical production teams including performers, technical crew, designers, and stagehands Maintain detailed production schedules, budgets, and resource allocation to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness Facilitate clear communication among directors, performers, designers, and technical staff to ensure everyone is aligned Supervise live event AV production projects, ensuring high-quality execution of all multimedia elements Oversee safety protocols related to stage rigging, lighting setups, and equipment handling during rehearsals and performances Write detailed reports post-production to document successes and areas for improvement Skills Proven experience managing theatrical productions or live event performances with strong leadership skills Expertise in stage rigging techniques, theatrical lighting equipment, sound equipment, and projection system operation Demonstrated ability to manage budgets effectively while maintaining high production standards Excellent communication skills with public speaking experience to coordinate diverse teams and liaise with stakeholders Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure in fast-paced environments Knowledge of live production AV systems including sound mixing consoles and multimedia integration tools Ability to work collaboratively with creative teams while maintaining attention to detail in technical execution Writing skills for creating detailed reports, schedules, and technical documentation Join us as a Stage Manager where your passion for the performing arts will drive unforgettable productions!
