Holiday Lighting Installer - Light Up Far North Dallas and surrounding areas with Gorilla Property Services! If you love transforming homes and businesses into stunning holiday displays—and you know your way around roofs, ladders, trees, and pro-grade lighting gear—Gorilla Property Services wants you on our holiday lighting team this season. We're looking for an experienced, detail-driven installer who can design, hang, maintain, and remove exterior holiday lighting for residential and commercial properties across Far North Dallas and surrounding areas. This is hands-on, outdoor work with big visual impact. If you enjoy creating something people WOW at, you'll fit right in. What You'll Do Install exterior holiday lighting on homes, offices, storefronts, roofs, gutters, peaks, trees, and landscaping Safely climb ladders and work on rooftops (20-40 ft) with confidence Use professional-grade lighting equipment, clips, extension cords, timers, and installation tools Troubleshoot lighting issues, replace bulbs, and ensure displays shine bright all season Follow safety protocols when handling electrical components and working at heights Communicate with customers and represent the Gorilla brand with professionalism and pride Assist with takedown and storage of lighting after the season Identify opportunities for additional services (earn commissions!) This part-time, seasonal position is for the upcoming holiday lighting season but could lead into a technician role for the right person to help clean and maintain the exterior of homes and businesses with all of the other services offered by Gorilla Property Services.
Requirements:
What You Bring Experience installing exterior holiday lighting (residential or commercial) Strong comfort working on ladders, rooftops, and elevated surfaces Ability to lift, carry, and work outdoors in all weather conditions Familiarity with electrical basics (connections, timers, load awareness) Attention to detail and a commitment to clean, safe, professional installs Clean driving record Willingness to wear PPE and Gorilla gear Safety-first mindset Desire to upsell services and earn commissions Team-oriented attitude with the ability to work efficiently during peak season Veterans encouraged to apply
