Lighting Installer

Job Summary We are seeking a detail oriented & thorough lighting installer to join us at Solasta Lighting Design! This will be a contractor role & will require you to travel to different locations to install permanent exterior lighting. As an installer, you will install permanent lighting on retail and residential locations as scheduled. A valid driver's license, a reliable form of transportation and ability to travel to different locations will be required. Tools will be made available for purchase through Solasta Lighting Design, however contractors hired to perform the work are able to use their own tools if available. This position offers a flexible schedule. This commission-based position offers a competitive pay structure based on linear footage, with earning potential between $40,000 and $80,000 annually. Top performers have the opportunity for advancement into lead installer roles.

Responsibilities:

Learn how to properly install Solasta Lighting Design equipment Perform installations efficiently & safely while ensuring quality & precision Troubleshooting technical difficulties & challenges with lighting system or installation & finding a resolution Maintain tools & equipment Coordinate & communicate with sales, project managers & clients to ensure a properly working lighting system while maintaining a high degree of professionalism & customer service Develop into a lead, train new installers, and lead a team of the best permanent outdoor lighting installers

Qualifications:

Prior experience working in installation or other relevant experience or related fields (Construction, etc.) Understanding & knowledge of electrical systems or prior experience in the field Confidence & experience using hand & power tools Strong problem-solving & troubleshooting abilities, including the capability to adapt & resolve issues during installations Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients, team members & project managers Attention to detail & commitment to ensuring high quality work that aligns with the company's standards for precision & aesthetics Physically able to handle long hours outdoors & on feet A valid driver's license & ability to travel to job sites as required Hiring Company Description Solasta Lighting Design specializes in designing, manufacturing, and installing premium permanent lighting systems for residential and commercial properties.
