• Athens, AL Our client is a well-established independent insurance agency with a long-standing presence in the Southeastern United States.

They are seeking an experienced Commercial Insurance Producer to develop and grow a book of business across commercial lines accounts. This role offers flexibility to work remotely or in-office and provides access to a broad network of carrier markets and internal support systems.

Responsibilities:

Develop and grow a book of commercial lines business through new client acquisition Prospect and generate new business through networking, referrals, and direct outreach Manage the full sales lifecycle including quoting, binding, and renewals Build and maintain relationships with multiple insurance carriers and underwriting partners Analyze client risk exposures and recommend appropriate coverage solutions Review existing policies and identify opportunities for coverage improvements and cross-selling Maintain accurate client records and activity tracking within Applied Epic or similar agency management systems

Qualifications:

Active Property & Casualty (P&C) License 10+ years of experience in commercial insurance sales / production Proven track record of building and managing a book of business (new business development required) Experience working within an independent insurance agency environment Experience placing business with multiple carriers Proficiency with Applied Epic or similar agency management systems

Compensation:

Base salary up to 50k/year (year one) Year 2: Reduced base (25k/year) transitioning toward commission Year 3: Full commission structure

Commission:

~40% new business / ~25% renewals 401k eligibility after 1 year 3 weeks PTO #INDALL
