A Media or Talent Director directs and coordinates activities of personnel engaged in preparation of stage, television, radio, or motion picture productions, or auditions and interviews performers to select most appropriate talent for parts in these productions.
Perform any production duties as assigned including: Ross Overdrive Automation System Maintain production studio and control room Perform other tasks related to the position as assigned, which may include website contribution
Requirements:
Must be able to direct Knowledge of Ross Overdrive or equivalent automated systems - helpful Possess a working knowledge of NRCS (preferably ENPS) , video servers, graphic playout systems (preferably Ross Carbonite), video routers, switchers, robotic cameras, and wireless lavalier microphones Stage manager experience is a plus A strong sense of newscast structure, significant hands-on experience operating in a computer assisted environment, the ability to work well under pressure, exceptional organizational skills and the ability to easily adapt to breaking news situations Live directing and/or switching experience and knowledge of switcher concepts is helpful Knowledge of production standards and equipment Full working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite Ability to clearly give direction to crew while under pressure Typing and good spelling skills necessary Ability to read and write, college degree preferred Must be able to lift & position 40 pound lighting instruments Sinclair is proud to be an equal opportunity employer and a drug free workplace.
