Job Description

Worship & Production Director - Watermark Church (New Baltimore, Michigan) Watermark Church is looking for a Worship & Production Director who is passionate about helping people encounter the presence of God while building healthy, thriving worship and production ministries. This is more than a Sunday morning role. We re looking for a leader who can develop people, build teams, create systems, and cultivate environments where worship and production volunteers can grow spiritually, relationally, and technically. Whether your background is primarily in worship leadership, production leadership, or a combination of both, we re looking for someone who is passionate about developing leaders and building healthy ministry teams. What You ll
Do:
Provide leadership and oversight for all worship and production ministries Lead worship regularly while developing additional worship leaders Recruit, onboard, train, and develop worship and production volunteers Identify and develop volunteer leaders who can take ownership of ministry responsibilities Create systems, workflows, and training pathways that help teams thrive Oversee service planning, rehearsals, and Sunday execution Help shape creative elements for Sunday services, worship nights, and special events Provide leadership and oversight for production environments, including audio, lighting, ProPresenter, livestream, and related systems Build a ministry that is healthy, sustainable, and not dependent on one person Develop and release leaders who can successfully lead teams, ministries, and volunteers without constant supervision
Who You Are:
A strong worship leader (vocally and/or instrumentally) Passionate about developing people, not just leading services A leader who enjoys coaching, mentoring, and empowering others Organized, proactive, and systems-minded Comfortable leading both relationally and operationally Able to balance creativity, leadership development, and execution Familiar with worship and production environments and willing to continue growing technically
