This role is responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive programs that support employee growth, leadership development, and organizational effectiveness. The Director will oversee efforts to develop talent pipelines, enhance leadership capabilities at all levels, and foster a culture of continuous learning and engagement across the college. Talent Development Oversees the creation and delivery of professional learning experiences that enhance employee performance, engagement, and career growth. Leads Talent Development team members - ensuring excellence in programming to support all employee classifications at the college. Co-leads the college's O.N.E. onboarding/orientation program to foster a strong employee experience. Develops and analyzes assessment reports to measure the impact of talent development initiatives. Collaborate with faculty, staff, and administrators to identify learning needs and deliver responsive programming. Evaluates talent development outcomes and continuously improves programming based on feedback and performance metrics. 2. Leadership Development Designs and implements leadership development programs for emerging, mid-level, and executive leaders, aligned with institutional goals and leadership competencies. Facilitates coaching, mentoring, and succession planning initiatives to build leadership capacity and readiness. Partners with senior leaders to assess leadership gaps and create targeted development strategies. Leads the development of programming, retreats, and executive learning experiences through the Academy for Transformational Leadership. Evaluates leadership development outcomes and continuously improves programming based on feedback and performance metrics. 3. Strategic Collaboration Works cross-functionally with other directors and executive leaders to align development initiatives with college-wide strategic priorities. Stays current on trends in adult learning, organizational development, and leadership theory to inform innovative practices. Represents the college in external partnerships, conferences, and presentations related to leadership and talent development. Minimum Requirements and Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Organizational and/or Talent Development, Human Resources, Leadership, Business, or related field. 5+ years of progressive experience in employee engagement, talent and leadership development, and culture-building roles Demonstrated success in managing teams and projects Working knowledge of adult learning principles and employee engagement strategies Strong facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills
Preferred Requirements:
Master's or Doctorate degree Experience in higher education or mission-driven organizations Familiarity with employee lifecycle models, design thinking, and engagement frameworks Certification in coaching, leadership assessment tools, or talent development frameworks is a plus
