GASSED GASSED
is a paid-social performance agency built around one job: getting brands new customers. We handle creative, media, affiliate, and CRO under one roof, and we ship the volume of UGC and paid-social creative it takes to beat rising CPAs. Our work lives and dies by performance, and casting is where a lot of that performance is won or lost. About the role We're hiring a Casting Director to own talent for our UGC and paid-social productions. This is a hands-on, hybrid role. You'll be in our San Marcos studio three days a week for casting sessions, shoots, and time with the team, with flexibility to handle sourcing and coordination remotely the rest of the week. If you know how to spot the person who's going to stop the scroll, this is your seat. You'll build and run the talent pipeline end to end: sourcing, auditioning, booking, and keeping a deep bench of creators and on-camera talent ready for whatever a brand needs next. What you'll do Source, audition, and select talent for UGC content and paid-social campaigns Run casting calls and in-studio auditions; review submissions and evaluate on-camera presence and fit Build and maintain our talent database so we can cast fast and consistently Partner with directors, producers, and account teams to match casting to each brand's audience, guidelines, and performance goals Negotiate talent agreements and manage rates, usage, and paperwork Coordinate schedules and keep talent and internal teams clearly informed through every stage of production Welcome and direct talent on shoot days so they show up prepared and comfortable on camera What we're looking for Experience casting talent and running auditions, with a sharp eye for who performs on camera Strong communicator who can direct talent and keep creative, production, and account teams aligned A feel for performance fundamentals like delivery, tone, and energy, and how they translate to paid results Solid production coordination: scheduling, shoot logistics, and a working understanding of video/content workflows Organized and detail-oriented, comfortable juggling multiple casting projects at once Thrives in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment with tight deadlines Background in advertising, digital media, or social content production is a big plus Education or training in film, theater, media, or communications is preferred
