Description We are looking for an AI Artist and Retoucher to support a visual production team. This long-term contract position blends generative image creation with expert retouching, requiring someone who can move fluidly between AI-assisted workflows and high-quality photographic finishing. The role focuses on producing refined product, interior, and lifestyle visuals that align with elevated brand and editorial expectations while partnering closely with creative stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Create and refine visual assets using generative AI tools and node-based workflows to produce furniture, interior, and lifestyle imagery for production use.
• Develop, test, and improve prompts across platforms such as ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude to achieve consistent, production-ready image results.
• Retouch both photographed and AI-assisted imagery with careful attention to color balance, compositing, texture cleanup, lighting realism, and material detail.
• Integrate generated elements into existing photography and blend photographed components into AI-created scenes while preserving a natural, cohesive look.
• Elevate product and lifestyle images to premium editorial quality through precise masking, corrections, and finishing techniques.
• Prepare final files for print production, ensuring assets meet technical, formatting, and prepress standards.
• Work closely with art directors and creative partners to maintain a unified visual style across campaigns and marketing deliverables.
• Document repeatable prompting methods and retouching procedures to support internal best practices and workflow consistency. Requirements
• Proven background in advanced photo retouching for product, lifestyle, retail, or luxury-focused visual content.
• Practical production experience with generative AI platforms, including image creation and revision workflows.
• Strong command of Adobe Photoshop for compositing, masking, color correction, image cleanup, and final asset preparation.
• Experience with node-based AI systems such as ComfyUI, Figma Weave, or similar workflow environments.
• Demonstrated ability to write, adjust, and troubleshoot prompts across multiple AI models to improve output quality.
• Solid understanding of photorealistic image construction, including lighting, perspective, materials, and visual consistency.
• Portfolio showcasing both high-end retouching work and AI-generated or AI-assisted creative projects.
• Familiarity with Adobe Illustrator and broad graphic design fundamentals is beneficial.
